How We Teach
Structured for Every Child's Growth
At AMAN, students are grouped by skill level — not age. Every child is assessed and placed in the right environment. Group leaders support beginners, and our rotating focus ensures well-rounded development week after week.
Beginner مُبْتَدِئ
Foundation Level · Green Book
مُعَلِّمُ الْقِرَاءَةِ الْعَرَبِيَّةِ مَعَ قَاعِدَةٍ بَغْدَادِيَّة
- Arabic alphabet recognition and writing
- Introductory Qur'an reading
- Basic daily supplications and adhkār
- Islamic manners and identity
Reading مُتَوَسِّط
Qur'an Reading Level
- Reading directly from the Muṣḥaf with the eyes
- Strengthening fluency, accuracy, and speed of recitation
- Mastering Juz ʻAmma, Juz Tabārak, and Juz Qad Samiʻ
- Building until the tongue flows easily and correctly
Students placed here have completed the Green Book but need more time to strengthen their recitation before advancing to Ḥifḥ.
Ḥifḥ مُتَقَدِّم
Memorization Level
- Full Qur'an memorization (Ḥifḥ) program
- Fluent recitation with complete tajwīd
- Multiple juz memorized and reviewed regularly
- Leadership and mentoring responsibilities in class
Weekly Evaluations تَقْيِيمٌ أُسْبُوعِيّ
Students are assessed weekly and advance when ready — not by age or grade. Every child moves at the pace that is right for them.
